Claims Recoveries Administrator

Job Description
Responsible for efficient third-party recoveries, collections, and salvage disposal, aligned with company objectives. Involves stakeholder co-ordination and legal collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages third-party claim recoveries and knock-for-knock agreements.
  • Appoints and monitors debt collectors and tracing agents.
  • Collaborates with Legal and external services on prosecution matters.
  • Maintains and updates recovery and salvage registers.
  • Registers claims, authorizes repairs, and controls claim costs.
  • Drafts repudiation letters and ensures policy compliance.
  • Generates monthly management reports.
  • Liaises with underwriters, reinsurers, brokers, and clients.
  • Handles and escalates complaints effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Law, Risk Management, or Insurance.
  • AIISA/ACII Diploma is an added advantage.
