Aplications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above-mentioned post which have arisen within Murewa Town Board and Murewa Rural District Council.
The Civil Engineering Technician will be under the Engineering and Technical Services Department and reporting to the Engineer.
DUTIES
Supervising and monitoring project infrastructure! developments within the district.
Coordinating road fud projects.
Ensuring maintenance of roads/manage and designs.
Capturing and coordinating and ensuring works with outsourced contractors.
Control of infrastructural development according to designs.
Develop bill of quantities for specific projects.
Produce proposals work budgets, work schedule and reports on projects.
Water design and maintenance.
Sewer reticulation and maintenance at business centre, townships and council properties.
Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of a Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience preferably in a local authority or similar organizational operations.
Membership with ZIE or ECZ will be an added advantage.
A clean class four (4) driver’s licensewill be an added advantage.
Police clearance.
Must be at least 25 years of age.
