Qualification: Relevant degree in Food Science and Technology or Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or any relevant applied science degree.

Position Summary
You will support to ensure that labelling requirements and communication plans are in place to support management in regulatory compliance. Additionally you will be responsible for informing, engaging and motivating employees in pursuit of a shared strategic vision and goals, using the different tools and communication channels available. Furthermore you will support to ensure that all products and communication material meet legislative requirements.

A day in the life of an RSA/CCPA Assistant:

  • Collect and maintain up to date national regulations relevant to product category for the Cluster.
  • Develop and maintains documentation to substantiate claims on labels and adverts.
  • Support to assure compliance of products and labels with local regulations.
  • Participate in development of label information for products.
  • Evaluate innovation and renovation initiatives against local regulations with comprehensive and timely feedback.
  • Coordinate efforts to get all necessary regulatory approvals internally and externally.
  • Support to implement validated regulatory action plans in response to regulatory changes in the market.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines.
  • Support to provide guidance and advice on regulations and internal compliance policies to relevant internal functions.
  • Support in administrative product registration process requirements i.e dossier compilation; product registration application follow up with registration providers, where need.
  • Assist in developing and delivering an informing, engaging communication plan.
  • Support to communicate internally through digital channels information that either anticipates or is simultaneous with external releases in a timely manner tailored to the diverse employee groupings.
  • Support in internal communication projects in Cluster and to manage digital communication projects and identify change situations requiring special communication efforts.
  • Support to Coordinate all CSV initiatives at Cluster level.
