Job Description
Role Overview:
We Are Looking For a Detail-oriented And Experienced Camp Operations Manager To Oversee And Manage All Camp Operational Activities In The Zambezi Region. As Camp Operations Manager, You Will Work Closely With The Management Team To Implement Business Strategies And Continuously Seek Ways To Optimize The Company’s Operational Capabilities. Your Key Objectives Will Include
- Maximising guest satisfaction
- Contributing to marketing initiatives.
- Safeguarding assets and stock in camps
- Ensuring robust financial controls are in place to maintain a strong financial position
This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and a hands-on approach to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Standards Implementation by defining, implementing and maintaining high operational and service standards across all camps.
- Developing and executing a comprehensive service improvement plan.
- Managing development projects and camp specific initiatives
- Ensuring high levels of guest experience and satisfaction through proactive service management and feedback implementation.
- Effective budget control, cost management and financial oversight to support business sustainability.
- Accurate tracking and safeguarding of assets and stock, with regular audits and loss prevention measures.
- Active contribution to marketing strategies and alignment of operations with promotional goals.
- Strong leadership and development of operational staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, with proactive risk mitigation
- Timely and accurate reporting on operational performance.
- Driving product improvement initiatives to be defined in an annual strategy.
- Collaborating with HR to drive culture projects within the business
Qualifications & Experience

- Relevant tertiary Hospitality or Tourism qualifications with a minimum of 12 years’ work experience in a senior role.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of operational controls.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams across multiple locations.
- Technologically savvy with experience in full MS Office suite
