CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (PART TIME FACILITATORS)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced personnel to be part of parttime-facilitators at the ZESA National Training Centre and the newly opened satellite training centres in Kariba and Bulawayo. Interested individuals are invited to submit their expressions of interest to facilitate the following;
1. NATIONAL CERTIFICATE IN ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING: TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEMS (HEXCO) Duties and Responsibilities
Conducting and delivering trainings to trainees in Telecommunication Technology and Workshop Practice modules.
Preparing students for HEXCO exams.
Conducting coursework in preparation for internal and external assessments.
Programme research, design and validation.
Qualifications and Experience
National Diploma in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
A relevant Degree or Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
Industrial experience is a must.
Proven record in training or course facilitation or related educational roles.
2. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING IN POWER SYSTEMS
Duties and Responsibilities
Delivering comprehensive training sessions on Artificial Intelligence (Al) and Machine Leaming (ML) within the context of power systems.
Guiding trainees in applying Al/ML concepts to real-world power systems challenges.
Conducting practical, hands-on lab sessions to enhance students’ understanding and skills.
Facilitating and supporting research initiatives in Al/ML as they pertain to power systems.
Conducting coursework in preparation for assessments.
Qualifications and Experience:
A relevant Degree is required
A relevant Postgraduate qualification being an added advantage.
Industrial experience in Al/ML, particularly within the power systems sector.
Proven track record in training, course facilitation, or related educational roles.
