A vacancy has arisen for the position of Business Development Officer to be responsible for the creation, administration and execution of a comprehensive business development plan and revenue growth initiatives. Co-ordinate all business development & marketing of the organisation’s programmes/products that include Diplomas, CPDs, Conferences, and activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The above position will be responsible for the following:
Identify new business potential within the region and increase customer base through implementing sales and marketing initiatives.
Leverage on product promotion opportunities with key stakeholders.
Creation and updating of marketing materials including flyers for upcoming events, banners, facts sheets, welcome packs etc.
Ensure revenue targets are achieved as per strategic plan.
Preparation and administration of quarterly calendar for Continuing Professional Development (CPDs) programmes.
Actively market and promote new and existing products.
Developing annual membership plans with key stakeholders and sponsors.
Conducting market research to understand customer needs and develop product innovations that address their needs.
Ensure brand visibility through organising member engaging activities, exhibitions, marathons, open days etc.
Implementation of the company’s marketing plans as needed and coordination of all promotional, marketing and advertising activities.

Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Multi-tasking and extensive customer service skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Proven ability to achieve set targets and goals.
Digital Marketing skills and high-level computer skills.
Qualifications
Degree in Marketing or business from a reputable institution.
IMM Diploma an added advantage.
3-5 years’ relevant experience.
Valid clean class 4 driver’s license.
