BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
We are seeking a driven and talented Business Development Officer to join our team. The BDO will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and achieving sales and revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
Proactively research and identify potential new business opportunities that align with the company’s goals and target market
Develop and implement strategic account plans to foster account growth and retention
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their needs, address concerns, and build strong partnerships.
Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify new growth prospects
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and operations teams to drive revenue growth
Achieve and exceed defined sales and revenue targets
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in a business development, sales, or account management role.
Proven track record of successfully identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities.
Ability to innovate, develop new methods, and foster innovation.
Strong business acumen and ability to understand and navigate complex business environments.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent people skills and relationship-building abilities.
Proficient in market research, data analysis, report writing.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.
Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
Proven knowledge of how to use social media platforms.
