A position of a bookkeeper befitting an innovative young person has arisen in a sales company. This is a 12-month contract. The contract may be renewable based on performance and relevance of the post in the organisation.
EMPLOYEE’S DUTIES:
- The Bookkeeper is responsible for providing bookkeeping services, data analysis and report writing to ensure that Company services are provided in an effective and efficient manner.
- The Bookkeeper reports to the Administrator and isexpected to assist in office and clerical work.
Job Description:
- The Bookkeeper performs a variety of general accounting support tasks in the company and its subsidiaries/projects including:
- Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
- Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable).
- Enters data into computer system using defined computer programs (Odoo)
- Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.
- Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.
- Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Investigates questionable data.
Remuneration: Gross salary of $320-00
Qualifications:
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset.
