Job Description
Ensuring safe operation and navigation of the houseboat on Lake Kariba, adhering to local regulations and guidelines and ensuring excellent Customer experience is maintained at all times and ensuring the Boat is kept in a safe and sound condition.

• Safe Navigation: Ensure safe operation and navigation of the houseboat on Lake Kariba, adhering to local regulations and guidelines.
• Vessel Maintenance: Oversee regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure the houseboat remains seaworthy and comfortable for occupants.
• Occupant Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of guests/guests, providing exceptional service and hospitality.
• Lake Knowledge: Utilize knowledge of Lake Kariba’s waters, including navigation channels, fishing spots, and scenic areas.
• Mooring and Docking: Safely moor and dock the houseboat in designated areas.
• Weather Awareness: Monitor weather conditions and adjust sailing plans accordingly to ensure safe and enjoyable experiences.
• Houseboat Systems: Manage and maintain onboard systems, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.
• Crew Management: Supervising and managing the crew, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Communication: Coordinating with Head office, Port authorities, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth operations.
