I am a 30-Year-Old in-house Corporate Lawyer with experience in Company secretarial work, legal advisory, drafting, litigation, compliance, and governance. I am a registered Legal Practitioner, Conveyancer, and Notary Public, a member of the Law Society of Zimbabwe, a member of the Bankers Association of Zimbabwe (BAZ) Legal Committee, and a member of the Association of Corporate Counsels and Governance Officers of Zimbabwe.
My personal attributes and skills are being a resourceful person with a strong drive to learn and can adapt to any environment. Ability to take responsibility and work independently but realize when assistance is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good research, excellent analytical and drafting skills, open-mindedness, and ability to remain calm under pressure. Diligence and competence, with the ability to maintain discretion with confidential or sensitive information. ICT literate, knowledge in the law, and ICT, insurance. Excellent understanding of compliance issues.
I am a holder of a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) Degree, and I am currently pursuing my Master of Laws in Corporate and Commercial Law with Midlands State University awaiting my final semester results.
With my academic background and experience in litigation, compliance issues and advisory capacity in the corporate environment, I am very confident that I will be useful and beneficial to the organization. I have been an experienced lawyer since August 2016. I have acquired vast excellent experience both in private practice and commerce. I am currently working as a Legal Services Officer with AFC Commercial Bank Limited.
