BARMAN/BARTENDER: WANTED GLENVIEW 3 SHOPS
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate must be able to:
●Sell various types of beverages according to standards.
●Ensure correct prices are used at all times and proper billing done.
● Welcome guests and sits them in the bar in order to direct and inform them of
what food and beverage the hotel has to offer
●Serve guests in accordance with set standards.
● Ensure bar is adequately stocked.
● Inform the bar manager on the need for replenishment according
to standards.
●Ensure that all beverage being served the customers is the correct order, quality,
quantity and that the presentation is as per set standards.
● Ensure that all bar furniture (tables and chairs), floors and surfaces, service
stocks and equipment are kept clean and in good state and any faults reported to
the bar manager.
●Maintain a good display of available beverages.
●Ensure daily stock taking for the bar
●Ensure that problems or complaints are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction
and/or referred to management.
● Communicate effectively with customers during service.
●Account for ullages and breakages
●Report any irregularities or unusual circumstances to Management.
●Maintains reorder levels
●Communicate with bar patrons and takes note of their requirements.
● Improve revenue generation at the bar by promoting new product ranges.
● Carry out any other official duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
● Certificate in Food & Beverage Services /Wine &Spirits Education are added
advantages
●At least 5“O” levels
● Computer literacy
●At least one year experience as a Barman/Bartender.
