Auto Electrics Trainer(Vocational Skills Training)
Summary of Position:
The Auto Electrics trainer is responsible for coordinating, planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive training and personal development program for students.
Qualifications, personal attributes and expected competencies:
- Diploma in Education majoring in Auto Electrics from a recognized institution preferably a Technical Teachers’ Training College or
- Experience in delivering training online will be an added advantage.
- Diploma in Technical Vocational Education from a polytechnic or
- National Certificate in Auto Electrics plus a Further Education Trainer’s Certificate (FETC) or a Further Education Trainer’s Diploma (FETD) from a polytechnic.
- Counselling skills and ability to counsel the trainees.
- A higher teaching/training qualification, and trade testing examination work experience and involvement will be an added advantage.
- A mature and exemplary person who can be a role model to the trainees.
- A minimum of 3 years active Auto Electrics Training experience including the same in industrial work where applicable.
- Proficient in computer skills.
