Job Description
The incumbent will be reporting to the Storeman
DUTIES
- Setting up and maintaining stock control systems
- Draw required stock and keep Bin Cards correctly updated
- Ensure Minimum and Maximum stock thresholds are maintained at all times
- Generating and maintaining bill of material and issuing stocks as per bill of material
- Conducting stock-take and spot-check routines
- Variance analysis and inventory valuation report
- Updating computerized stock systems
- Coordinate with procurement and other departments for timely replenishment of stock.
- Invoicing and making sure that the invoice has been signed upon delivery of the stock.
- Administer all paperwork and delivery notes as per defined procedures
- Dispatches finished stock items to client departments and keeps record of the same.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 ‘O’ Level subjects
- Diploma in Purchasing & Supply or equivalent
- Proven experience in inventory management or stores operations.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment and tools.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety and health standards related to storage.
- Knowledge of Pastel Accounting an advantage.
