ASSISTANT HOTEL AND LEISURE MANAGER: UZ VN HOTEL AND LEISURE PVT LTD (1
POST)
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate must be able to:
Assist the Catering Services Manager in all aspects of business planning and
operations of the hotel.
Participate in the planning for the hotel and implementing the approved
company strategy in relation to hotel.
Carry out revenue management (maximising turnover of the department based
on occupancy rate and the average room rate)
Assign duties to supervisors and observes performance to ensure adherence to
Inn policies and established operating procedures.
Act as the Inn’s public relations officer and promotes the property within the
hospitality industry, local community and trade associations.
Monitor the Guest feedback on Trip advisor, OTA’s and other tools in place etc.
Select or assists in the selection of hotel staff and completes all new hire paper
works with guidance from the University HR Department.
Review employee performance and initiate personnel actions such as disciplinary
actions.
Ensure accurate records including cash flows sheet, direct billing etc of the Inn
are maintained
Adhere to all company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating
procedures.
Ensure full compliance to the Inn operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures
and service standards.
Ensure the objectives and goals of the University work together to achieve brand
positioning and success of the Inn.
Qualifications and Experience
A degree or HND in Hotel &Catering Management/Tourism and Hospitality
Management/Front Office Management or a related field with experience in
opening, managing or re-positioning a hotel with clear track record.
5’’O’’ Levels including English and Mathematics.
Experience in Financial Accounting, personnel supervision and problem
resolutions is an added advantage.
At least 3 years’ experience in the hospitality industry with at least 1 year of
experience as an Assistant Head of a Department or Assistant lodge or Inn
Manager Excellent computer system skills.
