Qualifications
The idea candidate should possess the following minimum qualifications and Attributes:
5 O levels passes including English Language
A Degree in Hospitality and Tourism or its equivalent
A Master’s Degree in Hospitality or equivalent in added advantage
At least 2 years relevant experience in a similar post
Well groomed and extroverted personality
Have a warm disposition
Have the ability to work well under pressure with minimum supervision
Enjoy working with and helping students
Ability to work in a team individually
Duties
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in planning, organizing, and monitoring the day to day operations of the canteen.
Supervising stores personnel and checking all stock levels as well expiry dates.
Ensure the security in the Canteen such as money, keys locking all doors and windows, switching off all appliances and restricting entry to the kitchen to only those who are authorized to be there.
Supervising and monitoring recording of daily takings and banking through the supervisor.
Maintaining a high standard of hygiene through implementation of HACCP.
