Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the below positions
which have risen within Proplastics Limited.
Electrician x 2
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out breakdown troubleshooting and repairs on electrical equipment using schematic
diagrams. - Planned maintenance of electrical equipment
- Installation and commissioning of AC Drives, soft starters and electrical systems
- Troubleshooting PLC circuits
- Calibration of temperature controllers, pressure transducers, weighing scales etc
Competencies:
- Critical thinking, analytical skills, good communication skills, project planning and execution
skills - Knowledge of Extruders and injection molding machines will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of SCADA, HMI and DCS systems
- Knowledge of Differential Pressure Transmitters and Level Transmitters
- Knowledge of centrifugal and vacuum pump systems, blowers, compressors, and generators
Fitter & Turner x1
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out breakdown troubleshooting and repairs on plant equipment using schematic
diagrams. - Planned maintenance of plant equipment
- Cutting, threading, bending, and installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes
- Basic fabrication and machining
Competencies:
- Critical thinking, analytical skills, good communication skills, project planning and execution
skills - Knowledge of Extruders, mills and injection molding machines will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of centrifugal and vacuum pump systems, blowers, compressors, and generators
Qualifications and Experience
- Apprenticeship trained
- 3 years post apprenticeship experience
- Journeyman class 1 certification
