Job Description
Job Purpose
To achieve set area targets through the management of the trade channel, to ensure growth in business volume and value and brand presence / visibility in all network areas.

Key Responsibilities
Extracts and formulates tactical and operational plan for the area from the regional strategic plan.
Facilitates clear communication of short to medium term goals and objectives to the Area Team for execution.
Input area annual budget requirements (CAPEX and OPEX) through extracting information from the regional plan.
Identify and recommend social responsibility and community programmes for the area.Drive overall Revenue Market Share (RMS) target for the area.
Achieve customer acquisition and retention targets – new sim sales pre and post-paid, HVC customer counts and re-activations.Monitors and drives the implementation of area promotions.

Drives overall Customer Market Share (CMS) target for the area.Aligns team, shop, partner targets/goals and activities with the overall area mandate.
Manages overall customer satisfaction and revenue churn targets across different customer segments in the area.
Ensure the achievement of a healthy brand promoter score and the customer satisfaction of 4.25
Ensure higher visibility by cascading regional communication and branding activities, in coordination with the RGM.
Executes and reviews market activations of all new company products and services in the area.

Formulates the account development growth plans and objectives per area key account.
Follows up on all due accounts and ensures adherence to set trading terms.Advises on required network coverage sites in area territories to align network coverage to areas of economic activity.
Provides input in the Network Roll Out Plan for the area.Leads and develops area staff to achieve regional objectives.
Identifies training needs and implements training and development plans for staff.
Ensures systems, policies and procedures implementation and adherence (i.e. Technical, IS, SHE, Human Resources, Finance, Customer Experience, among others) to avoid fraud, injury and sickness while preserving organizational assets.Identifies important stakeholders in the area.
