Job Title: Animal Health Supervisor
Location: Karoi
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Animal Health Supervisor to oversee the health and well-being of our beef cattle in Karoi. The successful candidate will have a strong background in animal health and production, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor animal health and implement treatment plans
- Develop and implement disease prevention and control measures
- Coordinate daily activities such as feeding, watering, and cattle movement
- Maintain accurate records of animal health, treatment, and vaccination history
- Collaborate with farm staff to ensure animal health protocols are followed
Requirements:
- Diploma in Animal Health and Production
- Experience working with beef cattle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions
- Physical fitness to work in a demanding environment
Daily Activity Coordination Duties:
- Ensure feeding and watering schedules are maintained
- Coordinate cattle movement and pasture rotation
- Conduct regular health checks and report concerns
- Administer treatments and vaccinations as necessary
