Core Responsibilities:
Sales and Marketing:
Selling pesticides herbicides and fungicides to customers, achieving sales goals, and executing sales.
Customer Support:
Providing agronomic recommendations, advice, and technical support to customers, both in retail and wholesale settings.
Market Knowledge:
Understanding the agronomy marketplace, developing sales strategies, and staying informed about competitive products and practices.
Relationship Building:
Acting as a liaison between the company and customers building strong customer relationships, and expanding the customer base.
Technical Expertise:
Providing expertise in areas like soil reclamation, crop nutrient management, and sustainable agricultural practices.
Fieldwork:
Conducting field research, sampling, and monitoring crops.
Product Development:
In some roles, collaborating with research stations and promoting new seed technologies.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or a related field is generally required.
Experience: 2 years of experience in agronomy or related fields.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and building relationships.
Adaptability and Flexibility: The ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs is crucial.
Technical Proficiency: Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software are often required.
Driving License: A Class 4 driver’s license is required for this positions
