Position Summary

We are now looking for the Agricultural Services Manager to be based in Zimbabwe factory.
You will provide professional support to develop agricultural services activities, with focus on fieldwork and stakeholders’ attention and development in milk sourcing.
A day in the life of the Agricultural Services Manager
- Responsible for visiting and taking contact with farmers and stakeholders with adequate planning, and ensure implementation of the Nestle requirements;
- Provide technical assistance to farmers on specific topics when required (Milk quantity, quality and safety).
- Train farmers in good agricultural practices;
- Manage specific projects related to agricultural services;
- Conduct business intelligence in his region, provide management with reliable and anticipated insight of the local farming and sourcing environment;
- Support farmers with farm inputs as per local needs.
What Will Make You Successful
- University degree in Animal sciences.
- Minimum 3-years experience in similar position.
- Hands on exposure to projects with farmers or in communal environment and implementation of community development programs.
- Experience in milk sourcing.
- Developed awareness and experience of dynamics of rural societies, their development, and raw agricultural production systems.
- Experience in supplier development principles is desirable.
- Exposure and awareness of Good Agricultural Practices and Farm economics.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate internally & externally.
