Job Title: Administrator (Finance & Operations)
Location: Harare
Reports to: Finance Manager / Operations Manager
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, and versatile Administrator with a strong background in finance or accounting to support the smooth running of our operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing company payments, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, and contributing to efficient administrative and financial systems within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Administration
• Prepare, process, and record company payments
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and budgets.
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure up-to-date records.
2. Statutory Compliance
• Ensure timely submission and payment of statutory obligations such as PAYE, NSSA,
NEC, ZIMRA, and any relevant industry-specific levies.
• Maintain compliance calendars and track all due dates for statutory requirements.
• Liaise with relevant authorities for audits, inspections, or queries.
3. General Administration
• Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks including procurement, inventory control,
and office coordination.
• Maintain records of contracts, licenses, and company documents.
• Provide administrative support to management and operational teams.
• Support HR with onboarding documentation and record-keeping as needed.
4. Communication & Coordination
• Serve as a liaison between the finance department and other departments.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and statutory bodies professionally and efficiently.
• Attend internal meetings and provide updates on administrative and financial matters.
Qualifications & Experience:
• A degree in accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a security or serviceoriented company.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory regulations in Zimbabwe.
• Proficient in Sage accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A diploma or certificate in business administration will be an advantage
