DUTIES
Creates assets in the system and updates in the event of changes
Classifies assets and ensures that all assets are grouped in the correct category
Creates, maintains and updates the master asset register where necessary
Regularly inspects all assets to ensure that they are still in the right state for use
Recommends purchase, repairs and disposal of assets
Assists in the administration of service contracts for the Fund
Processes all insurance claim forms in line with the standard operating procedure
Creates all stock materials in the SAP system for accountability purposes
Carries out stock reconciliation on a regular basis or ad hoc basis as assigned
Assists the Procurement Management Unit with goods receipt both physical and capturing in the SAP system
Monitors performance of staff that directly fall under the purview
Develops routine and ad hoc reports for submission to the Supervisor
Carries out any other similar duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Administration, Business Management, Business Administration or equivalent degree
Ability to work under immense pressure and beyond stipulated hours
Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Packages
Good communication and strong interpersonal skills
A team player who is innovative and analytical
Clean class 4 driver’s license
