Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of an Administration Assistant based in Harare.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing administrative and reception services to Zuva Petroleum in line with the relevant guidelines.
- Receives visitors at the reception and directs them to the relevant destinations.
- Receives hand delivered mail and parcels at the reception and directs them to the relevant recipients.
- Checks that the Front Office reflects the correct brand image and ensures that the Front Office is always adequately manned.
- Answers incoming calls professionally and provides callers with basic information.
- Determines the purpose of the call and direct it to the appropriate person or department.
- Notes and relays messages accurately and promptly.
- Provides customer service and ensure a positive experience for callers and visitors.
- Prepares booking and payment schedules for Light Motor Vehicles maintenance and advising the garages.
- Processes department payments.
- Processes and issues Light vehicle licenses annually to the vehicle users.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Business Administration, Secretarial or similar environment.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Clear verbal and written communication.
- Ability to prepare accurate reports.
- Ability to plan daily and weekly work in line with job requirements.
- Ability to solve work related problems to achieve the correct outcomes.
- Ability to interact, negotiate (where applicable) and achieve targets.
