ACCOUNTS CLERK (C2) X 1: GWERU OFFICE
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates within the Authority to fill in the above vacant post. The incumbent will report to the Officer in Charge, Gweru.

Duties (Responsibilities)
General Ledger
Capturing journals
Capturing data into Sun System
Assists Accounting Officer in the following reconciliations and activities
Local trade Creditors and Debtors
Petty Cash
Bank and cash book
Staff debtors
Goods received
Receipting and Banking
Receipts cash from both foreign and local customers
Prepares and Banks cash as required
Prepares the Sub collector schedule
Credit Control
Attends to customer queries
Actions RTGS transfer
Invoices Debtors
Debtors’ reconciliations and follow up on outstanding amounts.
Record Keeping
Files all documents

Qualifications, Experience And Skills
5 O’ levels including English and Mathematics/ Accounts,
Certificate in Accountancy ( SAA/HEXCO/CIS/ACCA) or equivalent,
A minimum of two years relevant experience,
Good analytical skills,
Computer literacy,
