Applicants are invited from suitably qualified persons and the successful incumbent will be responsible for capturing and maintaining financial records, running reports and reconcile transactions thereof. In addition, the accounts clerk offers administrative assistance to accountants and prepare statements that confirm the accuracy of database information
Maintenance of debtors and creditors ledgers including invoicing and attending to any queries.
Reconciliations of bank , debtors and creditors balances
Assist with tax administration
Maintenance of books of accounts up to trial balance.
Assist in the preparation of monthly reports.
Participate in monthly stock counts.
Provide assistance and support to the sales and dispatch function
At least 3 years of relevant work experience
At least a Diploma in Accounting or and studying towards professional qualification
Excellent in MS Office packages
Traceable experience in pastel accounting package a must
Hands on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
Experience in mining an added advantage
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
