ACCOUNTS CLERK (REVENUE)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for appointment to the
post of Accounts Clerk Revenue in the Finance Department.

Job Title : Accounts Clerk Revenue
Grade : 11
Reporting To : Assistant Accountant Expenditure

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

5 O’ Levels including English Language and Mathematics
A Degree in Accounting or any other relevant qualifications
At least two years relevant experience
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work independently and also as a team member

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparation of bank reconciliation statements for the month
Clearing of direct deposits from different modes of payments
Revenue reconciliations from merchant accounts, swipe accounts, one money and pay
now
Banking cash received from clients to our bank account
Administration of business licenses and taking stock thereof
Administering beer levy account and ensuring that correspondence are filed
Any other duties as delegated by the Accounting Assistant Revenue/Expenditure
