Accounts Clerk

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Invoicing all council revenue.
  • Verifying daily receipts and bank.
  • Updating cashbooks and transactions daily.
  • Maintaining accounts receivables.
  • Following up on debtors and revenue collections.
  • Compiling payment vouchers & Process payments.
  • Effecting payments via cash or bank transfers.
  • Ensuring proper acquittal of funds.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Experience with Sage Pastel.
  • At least one year experience in Public Sector.
  • Must be at least 25 years old.
