Job Description

Perform accounting work, including, reconciliations, invoice processing and maintaining financial records. The role requires an understanding of accounting fundamentals and principles. Responsibilities include the following: ledgers and preparation of journal entries, preparation of trial balance, bank account reconciliation and any other assigned tasks.

Being an Accounts Administrator, this role will provide a strong support to the Financial Accountant and the reporting team.
Interact with various departments within OMIG on financial deliverables.
Be responsible for the processing of invoices.
Implementation of a strong financial control environment.
Work effectively within a team, whilst balancing own priorities.
Be flexible and responsive to changes in the business that impact financial processes and reporting.
Work to strict deadlines.

Requirements: Skills, Qualifications and Experience required

  • Tertiary finance qualification required i. e BCom Accounting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance function
  • Attention to detail
  • MS Office with solid excel skills
  • Stakeholder management & excellent communication skills required
