Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Professional to oversee financial operations across our varied business units. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights to support our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the cost structure, management of all inputs that creates profitability for individual stream line
- Manage daily accounting operations for real estate, transport, bar, butchery, and braai business
- Banking
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations and assist in budget preparation.
- Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.
- Collaborate with operational teams to analyze financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in audit preparation and coordination.
Required Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multi-faceted business environment.
- Technical Skills. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret financial data.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
- Multilingual. Shona, Ndebele, English and others
