Rural Electrification Fund (REA)

DUTIES
Updates and maintains Fixed Asset Register for the organisation
Provides accurate and sound management reporting for decision-making
Produces month-end and year journals
Carries out bank reconciliations
Reconciles and manages accounts for all receivables , such as but not limited to prepayments , levy receivables and staff debtors
Contributes to annual budgeting and planning process
Generates application for capital Expenditure (ACEs) and updates the Commitment Register
Assists managing organisation-wide stock counts and ensures that all stock variances are investigated
Manages the performance of subordinates
REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Accounting
A minimum of 3 years experience in management accounting
Studying towards an accounting professional qualification ACCA/CIMA/ICSA or equivalent
Ability to use SAP is a distinct advantage
Must possess strong attention to detail , problem solving skills , analytical skills and good communication skills
