Responsibilities:
Work closely with the senior management team on budgeting, monitoring, and financial planning.
Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures to ensure the company’s financial health.
Oversee and manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Introduce new approaches to assist in cost management and revenue generation
Prepare and submit all relevant tax returns in a timely manner.
Generate accurate and timely financial reports for management review.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
Coordinate internal and external audit processes, ensuring all financial records are prepared for audits.
Implement audit recommendations to enhance financial control and efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of financial principles and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Good interpersonal and people management skills
