Job Summary:
A small logistics firm is seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of both Western and Traditional dishes. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and planning menus and maintaining high standards of food quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and plan balanced menus that meet dietary needs and preferences of employees.
- Maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Ensure strict compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
Candidate Specifications :
- Recognized Culinary Qualifications.
- 5 ‘O’ Levels, including English and Mathematics.
- 2+ years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of Zimbabwean traditional dishes and preparation methods.
