Job Title: Senior Milker
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Milker to join our dairy farm team. The successful candidate will be responsible for milking cows, maintaining milking equipment, and ensuring high standards of animal welfare and milk quality.
Responsibilities:
1. Milking: Milk cows efficiently and humanely, following established procedures.
2. Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain milking equipment to ensure optimal performance.
3. Animal Welfare: Monitor cow health and well-being, reporting any issues to management.
4. Milk Quality: Ensure milk quality meets farm standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
1. Experience: Proven experience as a milker, preferably in a senior role.
2. Animal Handling: Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of dairy cow behavior.
3. Equipment Operation: Ability to operate and maintain milking equipment.
4. Physical Fitness: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
