Mining Operations Superintendent.

Duties and Responsibility

1. Develop strategies to grow the mining portfolio in the field of base metals.
2. Establish and negotiate profitable mining partnership with relevant stakeholders.
3. Ensure safe mining operations at all our mines.
4. Plan and resource all mining and mineral processing operations.
5. Set optimum daily production targets and Ensure compliance to agreed target.
6. Ensure plant, equipment and all mining assets & tools are effectively maintained and managed well all the times.
7. Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulating authorities.
8. Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports for reporting to management.

Qualifications;

1. Diploma or Degree in Mining/ Geology or Metallurgy.
2. Business Qualification an added advantage
3. Clean Class Driver’s license
4. Mining Blasting Licence is a must.

Experience

1. 1. Three years’ Experience of open and underground Mining.
2. Three years’ Experience working with and management of Earth moving Equipment.
3. Experience working Chrome mines.
4. Experience working with artisanal miners an added advantage.
